Why? High crime nabes don't want them anyway. They rather just live with the crime. Else they would have just moved to more affordable places outside the city already. Why even waste more money on them?

You couldn't be more wrong. I like many others who live in a high crime area can't afford to move anywhere at the moment. Me personally, I'm starting college very soon to rectify this (should've went to a SUNY) but until the day comes when I graduate and can afford to move to somewhere decent I'm stuck here.

I appreciate the initiative the NYPD took to flood areas like this in the summer, I notice the difference and it feels great. I hope these new hires make even more of a difference.

Please stop with the typical CD responses, you don't speak for me or anyone else who lives in a high crime area.

If I was speaking for you, you would have agreed with me.

Not everyone is fine with cops flooding their neighborhood harassing them when crime is at historical lows.

Frankly, they shouldn't be hiring any more cops. But if they do they should be black.

DeBlasio can't help spending money. He's just looking for more people who tripped on the sidewalk so he can give them 2 million bucks. Let's give everyone a raise! Let's hire more cops we don't need!

At least 2 more years in office, that's a decent amount of time to play Brewster's Millions!
