Where would you live?

If you had grade school aged kids?

Would you buy something in the Bronx or would you commute in from _________ ?

TIA!

There are only 2 places worth talking about living in the bronx, one is riverdale the other has a name I can't remember but it's right on the line with westchester, either way if you have kids and lived in either place you'd need to use private schools. If I were in that boat I'd consider westchester or near greenwich ct

Beautiful places, but watch them property taxes and be ready for a 'nice' commute!

Look into lower Westchester county. Plenty of affluent towns from which to choose including Scarsdale, Bronxville, Rye, Larchmont...

I am partial to Larchmont/Mamaroneck/Harrison. These area's are nice and do offer some diversity (sans Larchmont but it is the most beautiful)

Riverdale in the Bronx is ideal if you want to stay in the Bronx. Obviously, you wouldn't buy a mansion but you can own a nice house or rent a nice apartment.
