Two large Italian-American egos butting heads. It is going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

If B de Boob thinks attacking the governor of NYS is going to help further his political career and agenda he might want to rethink.

DeBlasio has become Cuomo's favorite public servant punching bag.

Correct me if I am wrong; didn't DB And Cuomo just have a behind closed doors hash it out meeting and agree to tone down the rhetoric last week. Guess that agreement is over.

The problem with Cuomo is that he lets petty issues influence his professional judgement. The way he is handling this shows he is not ready to become president. However in this case and as far as NY is concerned, it is de Blasio's all or nothing approach that is causing his friction with Albany. He cannot understand why he cannot get everything he wants under his social agenda.

Not a huge fan of either man, but at least Cuomo knows who he is; the guy has to govern an entire state *and* hopefully feather some sort of further political career.

Thus every half-baked extreme Left/Liberal/Progressive scheme that B de B comes up with isn't going to thrill Cuomo.

B de Boob is on a tear because he cannot believe he was elected and now feels he has some sort of "mandate". Worse he believes his fingers are resting on the political pulse of the nation; well the major urban areas anyway.

This situation is hilarious to watch. Two men with no business making political decisions in our once great state proving that point soundly by acting like imbecilic high school rivals.

Cuomo should push the legislature to legalize MMA fights finally so he can challenge DeBlasio to the first legitimate bout. I'd love to see them both drop dead of heart attacks in the ring! Win win for NY!

I saw a political analysis of this. It's political play acting. Blah is playing to the liberal Democratic constituency in the city, leading up to his reelection compaign.

Cuomo, knowing he has the Democratic nomination sewed up, is playing the the more conservative voters in the 'burbs and upstate who might tend to vote Republican, and don't like the city.

I bet they discussed it beforehand, and had a good chuckle over it.

I've lived in NY for my entire life. And I'm a pretty old guy. But I have NEVER experienced such a DISASTROUS
mayor-governor combo. Yes, NY would be a lot better off if DeBoob and mean Mario both dropped dead.
Unfortunately that's not likely to happen. Which means NY will drop dead first.

Deblasio reminds me of Lurch from the Addams family. This is just 2 planet sized egos clashing.

I am baffled that such small minded people got elected to those two positions. It only shows the politics and politicians in NY are quite provincial. They lack the ability of seeing the big picture - not a big fan of this expression.

Chris Christie's London trip was a prime example. The guy is a peasant wearing a very expensive suit.

De Bozo does not have a clue. Who does he think he is, Fidel Castro, who did whatever he wanted to do and nobody could stop him? (and if they tried they went to prison).

Hey Bill, could we see photos from your 1995 honeymoon in Cuba? Any photos with you pal Fidel?
