I won the affordable housing lottery in 2014 at 525 west 28th street.

I went down to my lobby, and gave 5 or 6 folks a flyer to the ad 605 west 42nd, and came upstairs, sent in the application online, and went on with my day.

Months later, I am shocked to see I was randomly chosen. No one that I gave the flyer to filled it out, the only one who filled it out was me, and I won! I cant believe any of this. The timing is unreal. I am going to say timing is everything. 525 west 28th street just wasn't the place for me long term. I will never forget the amazing feeling of winning that apartment - NOW, ITS ALL ABOUT THE SKY, WHERE ID LIKE TO LIVE UNTIL I DIE!! <3 KARMA IS REAL<3

I had an interview but I was so nervous. I really pray I am still in the finals for a beautiful gift. I cant express how grateful I am for even getting this far... ON MY 2ND AFFORDABLE APT(Don't worry I'm not going to try and keep both lol... the city can take this one back and give me my new keys!lol I wish everyone so much luck. I am so excited to sign a lease and see my home for the next 2348483 (i dont know the exact number) of years.....

Everything continues to align in the way its csupposed to. I wasnt meant to live at 525 west 28th street for a long period of time. It all was time filler, for the wait time for SKY to be completed! I AM SO HAPPY! My life feels so happy and so lucky. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
XXOOXO

No :-( I'm embarrassed to have been this happy. I didn't get it :-( I am so sorry for wasting everyone's time. I was just expressing my excitement. So much love and luck to all.

I would also like to clear something up...

I did win another lottery a few years ago. After being in that lotto apartment for a little while it was plain to see that this wasn't "the gift" that ANY of the affordable winners here thought it would be. (I dont want to get into details but my happiness to get out was based on a lot of things)

I wouldn't let anybody here think that I just want to move because sky is a nicer building. NO WAY! I am also forever grateful for what I have, regardless.

GOOD LUCK AND LOVE EVERYBODY!
