As I predicted on 6/21/2017 and posted on page 51 of this thread. The developer opt-in to the new 421a or affordable housing new york program. They are making additional 59 units available to qualify for the tax abatement and refinancing rules.
These 59 units for phase 2 are at 40% and 120% AMIs or 80-120% AMIs depends on the agreement between the developer and the city, the new lottery will be similar to Via57 and 555ten phase 2 lottery.
As for the original lottery at 60% AMI, it will continues as is, qualified applicants will be asked to updates paystubs and bank statements to verify they are still within the ranges of the 2017 AMI.

From what I understood those who originally qualified are no longer going to be taken into consideration. He said reapply and you could be #1 as well as #50,000! So just basically Good LuCk Chuck! It was nice knowing you but please come back and try again! Unheard of BS!!! I feel really bad for those who Came so close to even having orientation.

I think there is a misunderstanding between you and the representative, phase 2 is a brand new lottery with different AMIs, thus the reason everyone must apply and they will start from scratch.
Phase 1 lottery is continuing with its current batch of applicants, from my experienced in updating my documents, there is no notification from the marketing agent that I have to wait and resubmit an application to the new phase 2 lottery.
Pilita can probably let you know if she have the same experienced in the process. Pilita, did your marketing agent informed that you need to resubmit an application? Or just updates your documents for final approval and unit assignment?
