this is an incredible building that has true floor to ceiling windows, not just 80% with some cement/wall at base level. also has hotel like amenities. i figure with all the fees (like resort fees for use of pool and gym), it will go a few hundred beyond the base rent.
lady in video says rent starts at 3,000 for a studio but on the website where you can apply for a rental unit, i saw one at $2500. i wonder if these will fill up with working professionals? if the studio is big enough, you can split it with a buddy and pay half for rent while living incredibly well at a prime location.
Aren't floor to ceiling glass windows often hard to decorate around?
It's not that they're hard to decorate around, it can be very costly, if window treatments aren't included. The larger the windows the more you have to pay for blinds/shades curtains.

WHere do you put your FURNITUE in an all-windowed room.

You have to furnish accordingly with the layout. Most have the furniture facing outwards towards the windows. Go with the ambiance of the apartment, not against.
and who cleans the outside of the windows?, and how often?
if the windows are there for the view which usually they are, and for the prices of these apartments, they better be cleaned regualry, I know id be pissed.
I hate dirty windows
If you looked at the photos at the bottom of the Curbed story, you can see in some of them that there appear to be solar shades on the windows. Look closely, and you can see a chain hanging in one of them, and in another photo, you can see part of the shade.

I see what you're saying. How effective are solar shades at blocking out sunlight?
