My organization is a property owner (property management is not our principal business by any stretch, hence the question) of several buildings in Manhattan. One of the buildings still has a few rent-stabilized tenants. Many of these tenants have worked with other companies to have their windows cleaned from time to time, but over the past few months, the companies that they have called have not been returning their calls (I'm not sure why).

Does anyone have any recommendations for companies/businesses that would be willing to do the window cleanings for the tenants? I tried to get the tenants behind using our normal vendor, but they won't do the piecemail operation (some tenants wanted their windows cleaned immediately, others refused to pay the money for it). It's a 12 story building, if that helps any!

WINDEX!

So you want rent stabilized tenants to kick in for professional window washing? Good luck with that.

what kind of windows are they? some just cant be cleaned from the inside, especially windows in high rises that are all glass.

I love my tilt in bronze windows with screans, i can clean them all in a snap and take the screens out for the winter.

Actually, shockingly enough, they've VOLUNTEERED to pay for it! They just haven't been able to find vendors.

Truth be told, I don't quite know what kind of windows - the building is an old, pre-war building (built in 1919), and the facade is primarily brick, if that helps.

The tenants are complaining about the residue from a fire that was in a neighboring building a bit ago, as well as residue from the snow (...I don't know, I'm grasping at straws here).
