I agree Quinn would have been a better mayor. De Blasio was elected because he is not Bloomberg and he has good-looking children.

Rag on Quinn all you want, but she is loud, and wouldn't put up with all this nonsense. She would also have a much better relationship with the state government which would benefit the city.

Good looking children? What are you blind? Have you seen what his goofy looking son looks like? If he wasn't the son of the Mayor he'd have a tough time getting laid. Unless its a chick that's as aloof looking as he is. The daughter is not too bad looking though. She could hold her own.
But as far as De Blasio, I really can't stand the man. I don't think I've ever had as much resentment in a mayor as I have for him. He is by far the worst Mayor we've had in my lifetime. I'd gladly take back Dinkins for him. At least with Dinkins, NYC was already $hitty and he just kept it going. With De Blasio NYC was not too bad and he managed to make it worse for everyone. Not one group has benefited from De Blasio's reign except for criminals and thugs.
While the mayor's allies have steadfastly defended his record, de Blasio's sudden losing streak has taken a toll, sending his poll numbers plunging.
"He should be very worried," said Kenneth Sherrill, professor emeritus of political science at Hunter College. "He's in some trouble and you can't just say, 'In two years I'll be fine.'"
I wonder if Christine Quinn will jump back in the primary next time around and attempt a come back. She always stuck me as being more suited for the job, like a female Laguardia or even a Giuliani. Doubt she would have thrown temper tantrums against the governor if she didn't get her way.
I don't like Quinn at all. She'd be much worse than De Blasio. Real talk. In any case if De Blasio loses it's going to be to someone in republican party.
He has a socialist agenda but in reality is getting nothing done.
There, paradox fixed
^^Good one!!!^^
