So then rock solid modern capitaists (aka bootstraps for the poor, socialized welfare for corporations) should be very happy with him.
But they seem not to be.

He can turn his numbers around in the next two years. It's still too early to tell. But yeah, he's an amateur at best. Some of it is the media, some of it is due to his own screw ups.

Bloomberg had extremely low poll ratings during the middle of his first term. And he got reelected.

None of these nuances can not be fixed by the city or state and seriously needs heavy federal funding from congress who has to vote on earmarking grants to NYC.

Me personally a liberal like Christine Quinn would have just added 4 more years of Bloombergian Mayoralship. Hell I'm glad Christine Quinn loss her bid to run for mayor, only the UES and East Village supported her campaign. I don't personally think she would have done a good job and nowhere near Populist LaGuardia or moderate Guliani.
This girl s the best post I have seen from you. Quinn was widely regarded as Bloomberg's lapdog so I am glad she lost. I voted for de Blasio.

Default Boot the clown

1) Well, in his first year DeBozio managed to spendpiss away the entire budget surplus that it took Bloomberg and Guiliani 20 years to build. Spending, on almost anything, is a positive in his mind.

2) He's done more than divide the city. He's DESTROYING it. The rental housing industry, especially smaller owners, is going down the tubes. A redux of the disastrous 1950's and 60's.

3) Actually most people are unaware that DeBozio received the votes of a grand total of 17% of the total number of registered voters in NYC. See: De Blasio, Cuomo, thin turnout and 'mandates' | Newsday
And the idiot has acted as though he has a mandate. Even getting involved in national politics. It's called delusions of grandeur. So he's more than just incompetent - he's sick.
