For those who have been contacted with an apartment offer. Does NYCHA notify you by phone or do they send a letter? Also, does it show on your online account?

It's through mail, but u can check the self service portal on nycha website because it updates your status before the mail comes to ur home.

They notify by mail. However, there is an online site now where you can check the status. So you should every day.

I got certified last Friday August 14 for manhattan for a 1 bedroom I'm in a shelter now I hope I get something soon I'm worried I'm also N0

They definitely send a letter and you can see the letter before it gets to you via the self service portal. I checked this morning and saw that I was certified for a 3 room unit in Rangel but havent received that letter yet, probably in the mail now! my interview was August 28, i was part of an outreach call
