I don't think that all the apartments were there. I was the first on the list to view apartments so I think I received the option for the most choice apartment. I am anxiously awaiting news and am starting to lose hope as it has been 3 weeks since I viewed the apartment and no news .

None of the building amenities were in place yet but the roof deck looks like it is going to be nice. I basically saw the laundry room, my (hopefully apt) and the elevators. The views are expansive and once can see deep into Brooklyn. If I get an apt I promise to post photos . .. but right now I just need your good wishes and all the good vibes you can spare. I met the income qualifications but not sure how my credit check went through. . .
Gosh, I hope you get it! I got excited just by reading your post! Thanks for the description.
I wonder if the other side of the building has Manhattan views?

Was contacted yesterday for an interview. Have an interview in two weeks. Very nervous! Does anyone know if there are any middle income 1 bedrooms left?

I was actually very surprised I was contacted. I've given up hope a while ago. My log number was 49,XXX with a CB preference.

I understand how you feel. I was rejected from Hunters Point living and was depressed for a while.

Anyway, the battle must go on! Apply to the new one at 461 Dean's street

A couple more affordable housing units seems to be in the future so there's lots more opportunities! Living at Pacific Park | Pacific Park Brooklyn

I have a CB preference and a high log number (20,000+). I was asked to interview a couple weeks ago, brought all of the application materials they asked for, saw an apartment earlier this week and am now signing a lease. I only saw one unit and was not given a choice. Talk about a whirlwind- entire process in less than 3 weeks. I think if you bring everything they ask for (including the money order for the credit/background check) to the interview, have good credit and fit the income restrictions, this process is very quick.

Additionally, the building seems like its having a bit of an identity crisis. "City Point Tower 1" is now being called 7 Dekalb. City Tower is a completely different building- all market rate and no affordable units. The buildings are connected at the base but do not share amenities or entrances. Tenants are already starting to move into both buildings, but the common spaces (roof deck, lobby, laundry room) are still under construction.
