Any suggestions on hotels on the Macy's Parade route? I know it will be expensive but not familiar with hotels where I can have a great view of parade.

Good luck finding anything that isn't already completely sold out.

Best view: At home on a 60 inch TV and a pitcher of Bloody Marys.

You couldn't pay me to stand outside to watch that parade.

I do take my kid to see the balloons being blown up the night before (around 72nd and Central Park West).

Or vastly overpriced. You may have waited too long to look for a hotel, OP. The rooms with the best views of the parade are probably booked already. Google Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade route 2015 and you will find tips on the best places to view the parade. Hotels mentioned in some of the articles include the Marriott
Essex House (they have packages from @ $1400-$3500!), Trump International Tower at Broadway and Columbus Circle. and the Mandarin Oriental New York. You can try booking a meal at a restaurant with parade route views but even that is expensive. As someone said, the best way to view the parade is on tv.

I did that when my daughter was little. Now she wants a room with a view, lol
