Hello,
I have decided to move to Brookyln along the G train, and I am looking for a place near Greenpoint, Nassau or Metropolitan Ave. Stations.
I look at craigslist daily, and I have concluded that I am going to have to pay a broker fee considering I am moving into town from Washington DC. Given this, I am now finding that there are TONS of Brokers and I don't know if I should just start blindly calling them, or if there are some that are better respected than others.
Can anyone give me some advice here? Do I want to just call the numbers of brokers I am finding on craigslist? or do I try to find a respectable broker and then go through them?
Brokers are licensed by the state, and to stay in business they have to conform to industry standards. I don't see that there's a dime's worth of dif from one to the other, including the fee. If you like a listing, call the number.
