My list number is in the 3600's so it'll be a few years before I have any shot at this job.

From the Notice Of Exam:
Residency Requirement Advisory: The New York State Public Officers Law requires any person employed as a Sanitation Worker in the DSNY, to be a resident of the City of New York or of Nassau or Westchester Counties during the first five years of employment. After the first five years of employment and for subsequent duration of employment, any person employed as a Sanitation Worker must be a resident of the City of New York or of Nassau, Westchester, Suffolk, Orange, Rockland or Putnam Counties.

I own two homes outside of NYC. Doesn't matter as long as you can give them a valid place of residence inside nyc that you can prove you live at full time. Summer homes etc are fine

Why you still in such a hurry lol. Go do some reps of something lol.

Union wants 60 but there's a big fight over the order to do things. We're still ridiculously short on supers so the smart people are like hey promote supers and the other people are like nah let's promote supervisors first this way more guys from last year throw it in when they can't transfer and we're in the same boat we are already in
