Ive got nothing but respect for those that served our country, you deserve extra benefits. Agree with you on retirement seniority. However I think you are mistaken about day to day garage seniority. If you defer till September you will not have more day to day GARAGE seniority than those who got on in July. or Aug. And that alone can be the difference between a great day and a crappy day. It could mean you are out doing baskets in poring rain instead of relays. Unless things have changed and they are implementing a new rule.....????
Does anyone know if time at NYC doc carries over to dsny ?
Carries in the back end , not the front... But if your tier 6 there is no benefit over 50% regardless of time so I wouldn't see the point
