Last reported start date is Aug 22 - so if its anything like the call up for the July class, they probably won't start calling people until 2-3 weeks before Aug 22nd.
I'd bet towards August 3rd or 4th you will start hearing of people getting the call

So we just completed our first week of training and drove the collection truck....which turned out to be not as terrifying as I thought it would be. The trainers are very helpful and insightful.
If you trainers, are on the forum, I just want to say thanks for the encouragement and if there are no trainers on the forum and you senior members know any of them, tell them that us newbies really appreciate them.

Any tips for those going to Aug or Sept class?
All the trainers look out for everyone....and you need about $600 available if you want to be properly prepared. The $315 they say you need doesn't even cover the cost of the required uniform. That alone will run you about $350 and that doesn't include the Hi-Vis t-shirts, the regular t-shirts or your boots. And as hot as it it's been out there you're going to want to get the t-shirts, at least five of them, unless you plan on doing laundry every day.
Yea definatly spend a little money..you guys get 2 uniform checks next year
