You would not have even been given the chance for an intake interview if you applied as a single person for a 3 bedroom, regardless if your income qualifies. I, as a single person, qualify for like 99% of the 3 bedroom apartments on housing connect! But I am not a selfish a-hole who applies to them for no reason. I also don't believe your story at all. Not necessarily. Go to the interview and ask. City Data users are not the realtors or its managing agents, so you don’t know what they have available and why you were selected for a 3 bed.
