I don't think it helps that LGA looks so derelict and rundown. When somewhere starts to look like the kind of place the homeless would live in, then the destitute would be inclined to migrate there. My full sympathy goes out to those people.

How long do you think it'll be before the new LGA will start to look like the old LGA?

I assume they'll keep it up for a long time. LGA got slammed by Joe Biden which is why it's getting remade. Old LGA is really old and had not been upgraded in many decades.......

Did you buy your shotgun yet because of all the home invasions in East Hills?

My guess would be that deBlasio already had them in the surrounding airport hotels on a temporary basis. When that ended they ventured across the GCP to LGA.

I guess you missed the part where a developer has been identified to turn it into a hotel.

The process to find a consortum to design build finance maintain and operate a new Central Terminal was already long underway when Biden made his remarks. That was just political grandstanding for his buddy Andy so that it would look like he swooped down from Albany to save the day.

Politicians do not make public statements like that without a hidden reason.

I was hoping that if I ever had to use LaGuardia Airport, that it would look like it did c.1953, with guys in suits with hats, women wearing white gloves, and DC-3's and Constellations at the gates.
