Since many states do not want to help the incurable mentally ill, humane euthanasia might be the only alternative.

While a vast majority of homeless people do have mental and substance abuse issues, still a vast majority of them are also in their predicament because they have for some reason or another not been able to breed. People who do not breed are looked down upon in this society, and GOOD LUCK getting ANY kind of help without having first created another slug life or ten. Just look at ALL of the affordable housing lotteries in this city and how just having one or two kids makes it so much easier to qualify. If you have not slugged one out, well then tough cookies you deserve to rot on the streets :/ Why is this the case?

Lol, maybe they have better facilities for the mentally ill because they are the cradle of psychiatry.

I don't know.

Yeah ok. Who gets to decide who meets the criteria for that? Somebody on a message board?

Basically you're saying if a person is incapable of caring for his or her self, it's ok to euthanize them.

He has a buddy on another thread identifying a use for homeless people - body parts harvesting.

Under the rubric of "FYI." This is what's out there.

There are often younger, healthier people who can and do pull themselves out of homelessness. In many of these cases the time homeless is short lived. it's different and harder when a person is out there longer also. Really sucks seeing all this, Esp the last few days with people out in the cold like that.
The cold keeps the homeless population in NYC much lower than it would be in say LA. Some people freeze to death and others suffer from long term exposure (pneumonia).

Human ice sculptures? Its a shame it feels more like May or June than December and January. We could do some early city spring cleaning of NY's epidemic.

Yeah, I don't know how this works considering this would appear to be the case for everyone of the human persuasion; wherever you are, there is home.

Unless... the homeless suddenly become capable of hovering in the air like Superman.

I'll admit that I am ignorant in matters of physics but if what happens in the movies is in fact true we should start moving these hyper evolved pigeons at La Guardia closer to jet's turbines.
