Got off the train and saw a bunch of cop cars speeding by and looked up to see a helicopter in the sky. So when I got home I googled it. I knew it was something big when I saw the helicopter.
Why were the taxpayers paying for the shooter's housing in the first place (assuming he lived in the Melrose Houses)? He had spent 5 years in prison for armed robbery. He should have been ineligible for public housing and other welfare benefits after that.
i remember walking one friday afternoon around 138th street where western beef is where those projects are at and heard three gun shots and i literally was the only person panicking
