Yeah I like Edgewater and Fort Lee. lots of good Asian restaurants in those areas. I think the traffic is pretty bad in that area during rush hour.
The commute from Edgewater is also probably deceptively long. I think they have to take a bus from Edgewater to either the GWB bus station and then take the subway all the way down, or take a bus down to the Port Authority, which probably takes a long time.
Yeah this neighborhood is pretty stable. Not a huge turnover of houses, or even apartments for that matter. Sometimes I look around on real estate webpages for the stats on houses in the neighborhood and there's usually only a handful of places up for sale.
I like North Riverdale to be honest. I think you guys definitely have a MUCH better selection of food than we do over here. I haven't been in any of the places over there, but from the looks of it you've got a nice Italian place, BBQ, and sushi. Woodlawn is kind of boring for food. I'm waiting to see what happens when they reopen the City Line diner, hopefully it will be something good.

I am familiar with Edgewater as i used to go to the Target store there to get things for my apt before the Marble Hill Target opened here. I preferred the Edgewater atmosphere more than the Marble hill atmosphere but I still think the MH Target location is ideal. If I could afford it I would move to Edgewater, it has a charm about it
I was just at the Woodlawn Post office at Katonah Ave and 240th street(mine is too crowded and Woodlawn is on my way home from work). The silence of the neighborhood has Mosholu Avenue beat. I thought that was quiet. Is Woodlawn the type of area where people stay for decades. Or do many move away? It doesn't seem like the kind of area that will change in any significant way for the worse.
