Im moving back to NYC after being in Georgia for 3 long years im leaning towards moving to the Bronx. Im thinking about Pelham Parkway, Norwood and Morris Park am im leaving out another good neighborhood? My job will be in Manhattan i'd like a commute under an hour.
What is your annual salary divided by 40? (Annual salary before taxes taken out.) This is the formula landlords use to determine how much you can pay for monthly rent, so if you give us that number maybe someone can help with suggestions.
Also, what part of Manhattan is your job in? That makes a big difference for commute times too.
Welcome back! I came back from GA in Nov 2014. Now i'm living with my mother in Brooklyn. Can't afford the high rent prices. Trying to get into a Mitchell Lama co-op but that will take time. I have no idea if I can realistically stay in NYC in the long term. Which part of GA were you in? I was in Atlanta.
