Pest control recommendation (Harrison, Hope: apartments, home, buy)

bought a home in queens and looking for a recommendation for a pest control place to do the basics before we move in. Any recommendations of companies that do a good job?

Learned my lesson once and now always have our exterminator do a once over before moving into any new place. Especially "rodent proofing" because mice are everywhere and often you don't notice until it is too late. Rats OTOH due to their size leave damage and or signs that are hard to miss.

Once the scourge of many NYC apartments one hardly hears about roaches these days. Water bugs yes, but not roaches.

You can do by your own a pest control if the infestation is low. Otherwise, the best solution for this is to hire your very local pest company, to which you can get the reviews easily and if in future any problem will occur you can go to them easily too.
