Eh, I think the whole interracial thing has to do with social class then race. Some of my female friends from upper middle class families tell me that their parents expect them to bring home a yuppie, white Anglo with a college degree home. If brought home anything else their parents would loose it. This mainly applies to white women though, my friends of other races don't have these pressures. It's interesting how pronounced social classes in New York City are compared to parts of Europe and the rest of America.

No Black or Hispanic educated with college degree ?

There are of course, but there seems to be less compared to Asians and whites. Of course that has to do with the history of American racism, but I am sure the numbers are growing for college attendance for blacks and Hispanics.
Agreed. The comment also applies to Philly. One misconception about Philly is that we're a rude lot. There are, of course some Philadelphians who are, indeed, a**holes. But in my 11+ years of living here I think people conflate "rude" and "being direct". I'd much rather hear unfiltered speech than a barrage of words that are so wrapped up in qualifiers that their meaning is lost or diminished (meaning: better to hear "WTF?" than "gee, I'm sorry that I might be misunderstanding your intent when you said what I thought I heard so maybe what you were really saying wasn't really meant to be offensive to me and it may just be my perception of the situation ...")
This.
I'm originally from NY though haven't lived there in over 25 years, spent my formative years in the horrible "go-between" state known as New Jersey and crossed the river to Pennsylvania a year ago.
I have found people in the Philly area to be much more forthright and direct than in NJ, it is much like NY in that respect. I fit in well in that regard.
Anyone that thinks NYers or Philadelphians are rude hasn't experienced Jersey. People in these cities are just forthright and direct and not afraid to say how they feel. Maybe that's why I fit in so well here, because I've been called "outspoken" most of the time too. Jersey is rude, sugar-coated, uptight, not upfront, it's this passive aggressive BS.

Jerseyans may be rude, but they are not on the level of crazy as New Yorkers.
Asian woman are easy for white men to get as long you got money.
That can be said about any race...
