Lol.....90% of the people in nyc are straight? Really? I'd disagree with that number...I'd say it's more like 70% are straight and the ones that are straight are either black men or illegals or asian men (just too bad most chinese / korean girls look like boys, so the chinese/korean men might as well be gay ). I would be lucky if I ever see any white man in nyc who is actually 100% straight....even the ones that I see that have "wives and girlfriends" are gay.
I am in NYC, white, and 100% straight. Dude, what the hell? Are you short of straight single buddies to go out with and pick up broads?

The common misunderstanding of many about our system of government is "majority rules" but they conveniently overlook the counterbalance established by the Bill of Rights to protect individual rights of minorities. This was originally mostly for unpopular religious groups to be unpersecuted but also applied to other unpopular/non-mainstream groups & ideas. That's the basis of our society: I may not care for your "kooky" ideas but you can live unmolested unless you threaten me.

They gays have lifted their cause due to political and financial clout. Anyone can do it if they acquire those resources. Why do you think illegals get to stay ? Why do you think big corporations rule ? Why do you think the 1% has so much pull ?

You bring up some good points. Because this is NYC, people will just have to accept these liberal adjustments as they come. Eventually, they will get used to it.
People may identify as straight but sometimes their behavior says otherwise (such as men on the 'down low' who don't consider themselves to be gay because they are a 'top'). There are lots of people who are deep in the closet as well. It's also socially acceptable to say that I am straight rather than to say I swing both ways or I really want to marry my cat.
Where did you get the percentage of straight people in New York from? If anything, I would think that it would be lower in a place like New York City.
I would marry my cat, but we are both females and I'm straight. But I do love her, just not like that. She's spayed so she doesn't love me like that either.
I would rather they be forced to add transgender male and transgender female bathrooms, unless of course you actually had the surgery to become either one. Otherwise it is just all in your head, which in that case it does matter what percentage has it in their head. Doesn't the majority count? Dictatorship?
transgenders can go to any bathroom they wish, male or female. (new law just passed).
like a man dressing as a woman can go to woman's bathroom.
