guys apologies for tardy reply, been digesting the suggestions and overall decision we've made. Yes its sunnier and friendly in the bay area..but its one of those things where we got the spontaneous offer, and sometimes spontaneuous decisions are better than muddling over all the details. Yes we'd like to be as prepared as we can, and yes that cold-shoulder-vibe one might find in New York is really not new to us since we lived in Europe, and in most of Europe, its very similar.

He/she said she will be in South Jamaica ,which is considered to be the worst part of the Jamaica Queens area

I got it , yes south jamaica needs improvement . Area like Jamaica estates , Laurelton and others that are nice , people on the outside who are not well informed about jamaica , would say it's Forest hills
