The 100 decibel leaf blowers have returned to Queens for spring cleanup of 40 by 100 foot plots. How did people manage 20 years ago before every home had to have a 'landscaper'?

YES!!! I have always thought about like this also. The jingle playing in the street heralds weather warm enough for ice cream and spring. When me and my friends were younger we used to jump on the back bumper and ride along. Worked great until the driver shrieked and chased us away!

White people in shorts is more of a sign of winter coming to an end than the beginning of spring. They always break out the shorts way too early.
