Even better question....why is the post office turning all chinese? I'm talking about fresh off the boat chinese coming into federal jobs! Wtf? I thought we had a long waiting list for jobs like that. Many years ago, you'd have to take a test to do those jobs! So what happened to that list? Did it just go out the door?
Until every single legal American citizen has a job, there should be a halt to all immigration. I don't care if it takes 10 years. It started with corporations out sourcing to India - and brining Indians over to be trained to take American jobs at half the salary, now it's creeped down to lower level blue collar jobs. Hate on Trump all you want.

This! Serious question here. Almost every mailman I see is Asian and not just that. English is practically pieced together gibberish. My guy is very nice, no issues but that's not the point. He is literally off the boat as you said, just not understanding how they get these jobs. Anyone?

The postal test requires minimal english and only tests for the skills the postal service has determined someone sorting/distributing mail should have. You just need to be quick in spotting outliers in addresses to indicate if two addresses are different or else you better be a military veteran who get bonus points. The rest of the test is just BS personality questions that anyone with a 3rd grade reading level can understand and I'm not sure how much is that even factored into the ranking process given the recent incident with that mailman mouthing off some cops.
