So my buddy is getting married in June and as a group the groomsmen have decided to spend the weekend in NYC for his bachelor party. Three of us driving up from NC, two flying in from Seattle and Houston.
I've never spent much time in the city; really a layover at JFK during a college spring break trip and going to a wedding on Long Island as a kid and driving through the city on the way is about my experience. One of the guys coming (flying in from Seattle) has spent a decent amount of time in NYC and loves it but he's also the most socially awkward of the group and tends to find things fun and exciting that most of the rest of us don't.
Looking for some ideas of things to do for the weekend. Coming up the weekend of May 13th; Friday-Sunday. Seattle friend wants to stay in Manhattan; I'm thinking Brooklyn or Jersey City. Want to explore cool things to see during the day; and clubs, bars, whatever else at night. Trying to keep the costs to under $1000 per person for the weekend if possible.
My suggestion is to get advice somewhere more suited to your event than CD. Your best bet is probably talking to friends for recommendations, as it's very tough to recommend something for a weekend like this without knowing you guys.
For instance, are you club guys, bar guys, dance music or hip-hop, want to get dressed to the nines and hang with Euro models, or want to be in jeans and ball cap singing karaoke.
Private message me and I will try to take care of your group at Cielo (Manhattan) and Output (Williamsburg) for clubbing options.
If wanting to have some maybe nothing leaves this room fun I always say book a hotel room and invite a certain group of entertainers and keep it private
