Yeah right. You probably lived on Venice Beach sharing a room with a whole bunch of wannabe actors and iphonographers.

Yes if someone is the only member of whatever group in any neighborhood, that may very well be uncomfortable if that person is the only person of their race. But in places with large numbers of people of a similar ethnic group, it's not happening like that. And kids do fight.
Are you sure? What if that kid of the same ethnic group is less affluent, or more affluent, short, too tall, funny looking or fat? In life at a young age, people tend to create factions.

MY thing is this. How can we integrate people when so many folks here in NYC have vastly different income brackets, different educational backgrounds, ethnic, racial and religious belief or affiliations and so forth. Do you think a Jewish community in Borough Park wants to mix in with a whole bunch of UES old money WASPS, unless if their is money to be made. LOL. Even our political belief and ideals causes folks to segregate from others. And folks of different races and different income strata have different political ideals than others which causes tension.

People naturally segregate themselves from others. For government to force integration? That's that stuff that happens in Communist countries where minorities have to become part of the larger ethnic group which happened in both Russia and China. I'm not sure if the mayor is pushing a globalist agenda.

As I said earlier in this thread, the government forced integration in the military first. They then forced integration in the universities (if this had not happened you would not have a CUNY degree).

People don't necessarily want to segregate themselves. I'm sure many of the people living in the Bronx would move someplace nicer if they could. Lastly what neighborhood you live in can impact what job you're likely to get.

Proof that the law abiding Mexican or Asian going home or doing their job are somehow picked on more than anyone else?

If you're talking about people living in a bad neighborhood, well that is what happens to people who live in bad neighborhoods.

That's ridiculous. I'm not even sure anyone keeps data on that. Why don't you provide proof on that's not the case?

Fact is, we know the bad guys don't go after tough looking, bad ass guys. They pick on the easy targets. We see that on the news all the time.

You are aware that Mexicans and Asians are as tough as anyone else?

You are aware that that is not true, right?

But he's saying that they're targeting the Mexicans and Asians that don't look "tough" enough to defend themselves

There is a difference between enacting forced integration and removing forced segregation.
