I think I know the answer but I'm just curious about other people's opinions.
You would think Wall Street would be highly conservative because it is the center of capitalism but to me, (even based of the 2016 Election and Hillary Clinton) Wall Street seems to be very liberal. Why is that? Do they feel guilty for all the money they are making? Do they vote democrat because they don't care what happens to their money? You would think that they wouldn't want to vote for democrats because they are making all this money and the dems want to take 50% of it. It just doesn't make sense to me.
Also, Goldman Sach's CEO is a heavy democrat. Yet, he probably makes anywhere from 14-30 million a year without bonus.
Do the Democrats promise "regulation" on large firms when they are really turning their backs, allowing for the firms to get ultra rich and then later get some sort of compensation? Because Obama and Hillary both say they will regulate Wall Street but it seems that they lied and maybe because the firms are going to give them money when it is all said and done.
I view both republicans and democrats as being "pro-business". Demcrats pass laws making it required that the average person do business with certain corporations (ehem Obamacare) and republicans pass laws giving them huge tax breaks and tax "incentives".
