have you actually been in that area? BC first off East Flatbush doesnt border prospect park. East flatbush is east of nostrand roughly south of empire blvd. Flatbush hasnt even gentrified a great deal.....

Furthermore East Flatbush (locally known as the 30s 40s 50s and 90s) is mostly west indians who own the properties.....and if theres one group of people in NY who aint going nowhere for a while is West Indian people who own their houses. At most they might charge dumb hipsters high rents for the rooms but east flatbush isnt really close to the subway, so that would be a highly useless request to make......
