Wow, a couple of young white ghetto hipster transplant criminals. Love it.
Somehow I guess I knew the phenomenon must exist but it's great to actually put a face on it.
Will be interesting to see if they actually wind up doing any time, which they definitely should.
Assaulting a cop? Definitely time. Courts won't tolerate this as they don't want anybody to think they can get away with assaulting NYPD or MTA employees. Even assaulting a MTA employee gets you TIME, and this was the assault of an on duty NYPD officer in the subway station. These two idiots are screwed.
I wouldn't be shocked if they were a bunch of idiots who happened to be drunk or under some other form of intoxication. Either way, they should be behind bars.
I would have shot both savages.
the cop should have acted a lot tougher. what was he afraid of?
What was he afraid of?!?! Michael Brown, Treyvon Martin, Baltimore riots, etc., etc. In fact, very recent news in NYC was of a Police Officer [Liang] who was startled while patrolling in a less-then-desirable project and accidentally discharged his gun into the ceiling, ricocheting and killing the individual who startled him. He was ultimately convicted of criminally negligent homicide and I'm sure his career as a police officer is over.

This, this and this. Lots of things to be afraid of.
