By then cities like Pittsburgh will be destination places for their topography. But I'd wager that most people will just move into the suburbs of NYC.

Most of the suburbs are far more flood prone than the City.

with the exponential rate of technology, they'll have most likely figured something out by then.
in 50 years, we'll be teleporting as energy particles like startrek and the airline business will be old history.
