I'm close to Chinatown, so I figured some of the stores would carry these. Where can I get Longan ,Quenepas and Rambutans?

Longan

Quenepas

Rambutans

Would appreciate the name of a few markets that carry this stuff. Obviously, it doesn't count if it's canned

Have you walked to Grand Street/ Mott Street/Bowery fruit stands? They sell these all the time there, just blocks from Soho.

Well, you probably know this, but some alternative names for what you want are 1. Lychee fruit or nut 2. Guinep and the 3rd I'm not sure of. You can find those in Caribbean markets, too.

Aren't there street vendors who sell them?

They are a bit seasonal so don't get too excited.

Quenepas are sold by street vendors in Latino neighborhoods during the summer. I get them in Sunset Park in Brooklyn.

Lychee, Longan and Rambutan can be found at any Asian supermarket.

I love lychees. Was not as fond of the longans, which my friend bought for us last time we were in Chinatown, but actually I'm not sure I could really describe or remember exactly what the longans tasted like. But they are worth a try!
