I agree, I live in Bayside as well and have yet to meet an overseas Chinese investor buying here. Most are residents that live and work in NYC. Though I haven't spoken the twenty something year old Chinese dude driving the McLaren down the block from me.


I think most of the overseas investors focus on minimal maintenance properties thus they mostly go for condos or multi unit apartment buildings for which it's worth paying someone to maintain. Most of the desirable properties in Bayside are single family detached homes which are a ***** to maintain sometimes.
