In my building, I often see those bulky cardboard pizza boxes put out with the trash, and I was always musing about a way to prevent all that waste. For instance, what if the delivery guys had a more substantial carry-all so that the pizza containers could be less substantial?

But then I saw this solution in the newspaper! Not that it completely solves the problem, but it's an interesting idea.

Now, when delivered wouldn't it still be in a box? I'm not seeing purpose in this idea. Seems like an unnecessary waste of dough to me.

If Domino's did it people would start ordering only the empty box.

a box is a lot of food to eat, even assuming it tastes good enough to eat

this is a marketing gimmick, the better solution is fast decomposable / biodegradable containers

Its like they want people to be goats and eat the box! I agree with the above poster biodegradable solutions are best. It is too much food anyway, will contribute to more diet related health issues.
