I just got the interview today. At the end of the interview, the lady told me that my income is over the maximum line and my application got rejected. Did anyone know how they calculate the income? Cause I calculated the income (only got one job, and no other additional income source) by myself so many times, still cannot come out a number that will exceed the maximum income line.

They take your highest paystub provided and multiply that by 52 (for the rest of the year) of what You potentially can earn. They also take the gross pay not net

I did calculate use the gross pay amount not net amount, all my weekly paystub are fixed. Is that means they will add additional income on my actual gross pay, in case, I will earn extra money in the future day?

Update: I got an email today for apartment unit showing. Things have been moving really fast for me this time around. It's been exactly a month since I went in for my first interview.
I won't get to excited until a lease is signed.

Hello, how much income they wanted? Your interview was for studio, one bedroom or two bedrooms?
