Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of one percent of the landmass. But that's too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today . . . No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough.
NOW ABOUT THE ISRAELI ARMY: (as someone who served the US army
The US expects its allies to work together with its armed forces for joint defense and coordinated military action. Israel and the US collaborate closely on intelligence gathering. Most of this is classified, of course, but of the publicly available material.
Not to turn this into another Jew vs the world thread, but nothing you have posted makes the Israelis the good guys in the situation. In that situation, there are no good guys. And it seems every where on the internet, when someone wants to defend Israel, they always state that they served in the US armed forces every single time. Maybe we should send a letter to the incoming POTUS asking him to REMOVE Israel's listening post HERE, because they spy on us with wild abandon..between mossad and their civilian "helpers", Israel has quite a little operation going on.
