The TV weather people are trilling about the hot weather as if it's a great thing (and talking about "beach days" when most of us are at work). Do you find this cheering or charming?

All I can think of is that if we were in the vicinity of 90 degrees at the end of May, we might be headed for 110 in July-August.

no, our hot humid summer weather is now going to be extended and may not be over until September

i remember when june used to be cool and not so hot, ever year the weather seems to be getting hotter and hotter

If you go back the last few years the last week of May has been a heat wave week. For whatever reason. I have friends that come to town every year then its its always in the 90s when they are in NYC. Well at least for the last 4 years.

Its nice, beats the cold, grey skies and Icy streets any day. We waited a long time for this considering Spring was chilly too.
