Is there a subway thread somewhere? I can't find it. I need to go from Lexington/53rd to World Trade Center museum. Google suggests I get off at Chambers station. MTA map seems to show E train service all the way to WTC. Not sure which is correct.

Take the E to the end of the line, that'll put you the closest.

You can take the A or C or E to Chambers. That will take you right there.

When are you going? If it is today, you can do like the other posters said. If it is on the weekend, you'll have to check to see if there are any changes in E train service.

Going end of June. Probably Thursday or Friday. Does schedule for E train change on weekends? I didn't see anything on the MTA site.

Thanks for all the replies.

The World Trade Center stop on the E is the Chambers St stop on the A and C. Just two different names for he different platforms. It's the last stop on the E and they tend to name the last stop after the neighborhood or district, rather than the street.

It might, but generally you won't know until that week via The Weekender.

Use the MTA Trip Planner on the day of travel to check for any change in subway service:
