I'm not a tree hugger by any means but I've come around on avoiding nitrates (common preservative in deli meats) in my diet. The science is showing that those compounds are pretty bad carcinogens over years of eating them. So even if that's 100% beef (the bowel, teeth, hair etc.. are technically part of the 100% cow btw), you're still getting toxins in every bite

Haven't seen a hot dog cost $1 in like a decade, they run like 3-5 dollars these days.

Plus they have Hotdogs and Pretzels on the side of the sign...
Even in Brooklyn they are 2.50-3.50 these days.

There are so many hot dog carts and yes depending on location some do dip the price to $1. I still see it. The pricier ones are usually in some plum spot with a lot of tourists. But in this day and age of smartphones and trip advisors tourists are a lot smarter too.

a hot dog should be no more than $1 at a streetcart. $1.50 at best. anything more, you're getting RAPED with NO LUBE
