curious, why did the insurance denied his claim? Was the police there to write a report?
If he said yes to settle...why exchange insurance info? I would pay him cash to go away
No police was called....Even though he agreed to settle we still exchanged info guess just in case he never hear from me again.... He also hit another car, nothing major just a little scratch and i believe they wanted him to pay for their damage. All parties exchanged phone numbers. But i only exchanged info with the guy I hit. He was trying to sue me for bodily injuries. My car didn't have not one dent just a cracked bumper that had to be replaced...
One thing you never do is admitted that it was your fault to the insurance company. Let them try to figure it out.
If the determination was made that she was responsible for 80% of the damage to her own car, let her recover that from HER insurance company via her collision coverage. If she has none, or her deductible is too high, then that's on her.
