Would it change your opinion if it turns out that the OP is actually renting a room in an apartment on which the "roommate" holds the lease ?

I'm not on the lease, so I guess I'm screwed.

The reason I have a roommate is because I need to save money. Unfortunately for me, I can't live alone just yet. So I guess I'm just gonna have to live with this... Thank you for your responses anyway.

It's up to him. If he's playing music very loudly, you can ask him to shut the door. Otherwise, you have a pleasantly sociable non-paranoid roommate, and if that's your biggest problem with him, you're lucky.

What exactly are you doing in the kitchen that you need all this privacy? Jacking-off while microwaving popcorn?

OP: I'd be annoyed, too, if I was you. That said, and this is even more true since your roommate's name is on the lease, this isn't something that I'd complain about as he's technically doing nothing wrong. If you want more privacy, go solo next time or get a roommate who will close his/her door.

No. I despise weakness. Anyone that has to post such a question is weak and feeble, qualities that are quite widespread in today's society.

Not all of us are mentally weak. Why are you generalizing?

Did you not say this in the Bloomberg thread?

"Although I am mortified at possibility of Trump presidency"

Mortified? Really? You are absolutely weak, so please play with someone else. I will run circles around you all day junior...
