Yes, you don't know how you did on the OPA until they mail your results. When you get called for pre employment you will take a drug test and be given a bunch of forms to fill out. Provided you passed you will come back for a medical exam 3-90 days after your pre employment.

I took my OPA last Nov and got the result last month (I passed). However I didn't get a pre-employment letter. My list # is in the 2800s and I scored 96.25. My friend who scored 93.25 still hasn't gotten his OPA letter.

In regards to your PM I scored a 98.75 and my list # is in the low 400's. I don't recall them asking for any special id's on the pre employment packet.

They haven't reached that far yet with pre employment letters. Supposedly the first 1000 have received letters to start the pre employment process. They'll probably get to your number within the next two years you just have to be patient but they will get to you.

Unfortunately for you friend I doubt they'll get to him unless they extend the list in a few years. With a score of 93.25 he's in the what, 6000's+?

I take my OPA tomorrow. SO from I have read in the forum, it takes about 5 months to get your OPA results back, correct? And with that result, you get the pre-employment letter?

Well just because others got the result letters in about 5 months doesn't necessarily mean you'll also get it within 5 months. Could be more or less. And not everyone got a pre-employment letter along with the results. Only 1 confirmed did (Railman)

Default When does the calls commence

Hello,

I scored a 95 on the exam and earned an additional 10 points for veterans preference credit with a total exam score of 105. I received the results by mail and listed as #7 on the conductors exam. It has been about 4 months since I have found out. How long does it take to get a call?
