Why would he kill his own daughter? I don't see a motive for him?

I believe the father is behind this in some way. He knew about it. Karina was an hour late before he called the cops. I would definitely wait longer than that before being concerned my child is in danger. An hour isn't that long to be so concerned/alarmed that something happened. It was all planned out with a 'time' that the deed was complete. The dad knew about it.
Chanel Lewis also was not a big guy. Karina put up a fierce fight but he seemed scrawny to me.

We may never know the truth. Find it odd 'dad' was out & about in Miami a few weeks after it happened like everything was fine. If it were my kid, I would be inside my house mourning for a long long time.

More surprising is that he is still alive in jail. I though someone would get to him by now.

That's fine to take another look at the father. However what evidence do they have to look at the father again? I mean is there anything that his business dealings have shown that are suspicious/cause for concern?

Their evidence is that the family actually had the nerve to get angry when their daughter was brutally assaulted and murdered. They were supposed to express sympathy for the killer and say their daughter would have wanted that, like a good liberal family would.
