Starting to think whoever did this was probably some teen who hasn't yet built up a rap sheet. Or teens. Although I am not sure why they'd state that there's "no known threat to the public" unless that was just hot air to placate people.

i think they are there for natural land reasons.

what I think is more important than removing all of natures weeds, is to educates people not to go there alone. hello? it doesnt take rocket science to figure that out.

It isnt the weeds fault, it is the persons fault for not using common sense.

not that this poor thing deserved this, but had she had some common sense.

hello????

wake up people!!!

still dont think it was random. sorry.
It is the weed's fault. They are an accessory to the time.
They helped cover up the killing by hiding the killer and victim.

Hello?

We know it wasn't a homeless person, because they would be caught already.

Serial killer, not likely however it could be someone who will potentially become a serial killer

Random attack, not likely or else the NYPD wouldn't say their is no threat to the public. A killer raping and killing random women at large is a threat.

Now the father is saying an arrest is imminent and even knows that a female relative of the killer is in distress. The father knew where to find the body and now knows about a relative of the killer.

Quote:
Philip Vetrano, 60, whose daughter was found raped and strangled in Spring Lake Park in Howard Beach on Aug. 2, seemed to even be directly addressing a specific female relative of the killer when he talked to reporters outside his home.

“We know there is a family member of the killer that we need for them to come forward, to finalize this very quickly,†Vetrano said. “She is in great distress. We know she wants to make that call. Make that call. The [reward] money is there. I guarantee the money. If she waits any longer, someone else is going to claim that fund. The time is now to make that call and get that money. â€

I cannot believe this, I must have misheard!

The father appeared n the 5:00 news and urged the killer to surrender, then he - the killer - could determine who will get the quarter million dollar Gofundme reward.

I think the parents know exactly who the killer is!

The sister will probably get the money.

Now, isn't that something, right!

I thought so too, but obviously not.
I think the parents know who the killer is.
I guess it's her former boyfriend she broke up with 2 days prior to the murder.
