All you liberals do is think money grows on trees....
And the 7 train extension is OPEN and operational and it compliments the new buildings over Hudson Yards.

Spending money makes the world go round, always has, always will. You talk like a poor old person trying to stuff money under his mattress.

you sound like a bad politician. Its not free....cost 10 billion....then 20 billion...maybe 30 billions...the average NYC idiot won't know the difference...its still a net plus and we all win....until the roof is leaking during the grand opening in the year 2060.

Please tell me: will I still be able to get a 32-oz Budweiser, a Knish and a Sabrett, in the new Penn Station, like i can now? If not, then please, call off the construction.

shiny new stores and such will look nice but until additional capacity is added the real problems that plague Penn will remain.

Current Penn Station is obviously not the most attractive place in the world, but that's the least of its problems.

Rebuild Penn StationHome

it's actually doable...and at a fraction of the cost of the WTC, since all the underground infrastructure and foundations are already there. just need to move MSG, which Cuomo won't do since he's owned by the dolan family.
doesn't matter if the governor is a friend or foe of the Dolans, it would be extremely difficult to move them off that property. They just dumped a billion dollars into renovating MSG - they're not going anywhere without a long and protracted fight.

Big money will always be spent on projects and all you can do is cry on the internet anonymously. Cry on. Get ready for the nursing home, as you give away your advanced age by trying to use socialist and communist as an insult.

By the way, I love money and capitalism, so no.

there's a simple solution to this problem. Move the madison sqaure guardian and rebuild penn in all its beaux arts glory. they still have the architectural plans for it. move the garden to the west side. Its moved before. move it again. its ugly.

its a crime against humanity for what to penn station. New York city demands a glorious train station. Its the capital of the world. Philadelphia, baltimore, DC, chicago, hoboken, and even newark have beautiful train stations.

Make penn station great again!

Cuomo sucks. wish Bloomberg would run for governor.

getting the Dolans to willingly surrender MSG is anything but simple. Bottom line: MSG owns the property. And eminent domain is typically used to take property from the "little guy" - not billionaires.
