Most of the stuff you're hearing has almost always existed. The reason why it's an issue is because it's being broadcasted and exposed more. I truly believe whenever a society becomes more diverse you'll become more culturally and politically divided to a point where nothing will be accomplished for the greater good since every individual has their own preference.
By diverse, what do you mean? Culture is a norm that people accept. Politics is sub-culture of culture (it that makes any sense) since it relies on cultural norms to craft policies that enforce such norms. Certainly, whatever "diverse" means, people can agree on social norms. Maybe this is what the poster is getting at, though your statement on these things always existing is 100 percent true.
2016
Gender neutral bathrooms...or pick one according to how you feel.
Pay for the plastic bags that your paid items are packed into at the grocery.
Pay for cleaner air (congestion pricing).
Certain soda sizes are banned.
Outstanding cable bill... Jailed.
Cops shoot unarmed citizens...Cop felt threatened...Public supported exoneration.
Cable news (obvious propaganda)
Militarized police

Hillary and Obama with their globalism mixed in with zionism has caused the chopping of heads in Syria..if Hillary wins the “it could be worst” may be what we will be living. Haven’t you seen the terrorist attacks around the world and here in our country?
Bklynkenny… Trans has always used any bathroom?…but this was not the law…and now we are creating a bathroom for according to how you feel? I think we have a lot more problems in our country that we could fix. and all of these made up issues with “congestion pricing” etc… have other motives behind them. I can’t believe that some don’t see the obvious shake down.
!1995…if plastic bags are terrible for the environment…then we should ban them… not have the greedy use them as a reason to further shake down the Public.

New bathrooms are not bring created due to the law.
I agree there are lots of other problems, but that doesn't mean this issue shouldn't be addressed.
I think the motive for congestion pricing is pretty clear. It's to discourage people from driving. Only effective way of doing that is tolls.
