Log numbers were just posted -- at 50,000+ and no CB preference and only 41 units, I'm out, but good luck to everyone else. If there's already a thread on this building, I apologize (I still new here). I didn't find a thread when I searched.
Just saw my log number for this building and its below 60. Not sure why I haven't heard anything.
Are you in one of the preference groups? If not, you have to wait until the preference people are in.
Here are the preference groups for this building:
A percentage of units is set aside for:
Mobility-disabled applicants (5%)
Vision- or hearing-disabled applicants (2%)
Preference for a percentage of units goes to:
Residents of Manhattan Community Board 2 (50%)
Municipal employees (5%)
Yes, the preference groups go first. It may take weeks or even a couple of months to have all those folks accommodated. It just depends on how fast the developer works.
Once the agents are ready for the general pool, it should go in order of log numbers, and I'm sure you will be called in first.
When you filled out your application, did you put down an income that's within the ranges?
Yes, 38% of the apartments should be allotted to the general pool. Best of luck!
Keep checking this site, and I think there is another thread too. It's a pretty small lottery, but I think it's a Related building. So you can read through other threads, such as Hunters Point South, to see how the process goes. Just search for 80/20 and Related.
